Our ”Prince of Pasta” Peter Robertson will tackle Cioppino. It may seem daunting, but this traditional San Franciscan fish stew from the fisherman of the early 1800’s is actually fast and simple. Peter will make three versions for three different occasions and tastes, served over fresh RP’s pasta, of course. Don’t wear white and we’ll provide the aprons!
I, Peter “Pasta” Robertson, will be teaching a sauce class at the Williamson St Coop on Wednesday October 8th in the community room from 6pm - 8pm. I will be focusing seasonality in creating simple delectable pasta sauces from our great fresh locally harvested ingredients. Eggplant, brussel sprouts, and squash will be some of the focused ingredients.
The squash runneth over come fall time and how much we love it! So let’s find some great recipes to highlight all of the great flavor. I’ll start with pumpkin ravioli followed by squash lasagna. To top it off will be a heart warming squash risotto.

Hello all. I will be teaching at the Historical Washington Island Hotel located on Washington Island at the end of Door County WI on Sunday August 17th 2008. This will be a hands on fresh pasta making class including making fettuccine using Washington Island’s own whole wheat. Fresh pasta is so easy to make with just a little practice. Let me share my experience with you for a fun day of fresh pasta and wine.
